Dr. Van Ymeren is a graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is the current president of the London and Area Association of Optometrists, has served on a number of advisory panels for various contact lens manufacturers and has been involved in numerous contact lens studies throughout his career.
In his spare time, Dr. Van Ymeren enjoys golf, curling and canoeing.
